Youth E-Cigarette Prevention

The purpose of this presentation is to describe the youth e-cigarette prevention methods that resonate with and engage youth through a virtual format. Through an evidence-informed, peer-led e-cigarette, prevention program, over 700 students were reached across the state of Kentucky. The students enjoyed the program, enjoyed having college students as facilitators, and learned something new.
Learning Objectives:
- The learner will be prepared to share reasons why youth e-cigarette use is a growing concern.
- The learner will be prepared to share information about the #ICANendthetrend program.
- The learner will be prepared to share innovative ways to resonate and engage with youth through a virtual format.
- The learner will be prepared to share innovative and effective ways to prevent the use of youth e-cigarette use.
