Presented by Wendy L. Sellers, RN, MA, CSE, FASHA

Many adults report that they were ill-equipped for puberty due to lack of education or receiving education that was inadequate. During this webinar, we will explore strategies and tools to provide puberty education that meets students’ developmental needs and builds a foundation of sexuality-related knowledge and skills. Participants will be actively engaged using polls and Jamboard activities to consider ways to improve the ways young people are equipped to navigate puberty. Effective strategies for providing puberty education will be shared. Participants will receive tools that will help them improve existing puberty education or implement new puberty education programs.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify three strategies to help build a foundation for healthy sexual development through puberty education.
