Melanoma Lessons for Secondary School Students

The primary mission of the Melanoma Education Foundation is to educate high school and middle school wellness teachers about melanoma skin cancer and provide them with free online lessons to educate their students about self-detecting melanoma while it is curable. Both Melanoma Education Foundation student videos and a teacher-training video received Gold Triangle awards from the American Academy of Dermatology. At last count the single-period lessons were being utilized in over 1700 schools in all 50 states
Learning Objectives
- Have an in-depth understanding of melanoma self-detection and prevention
- Show a streaming video to her/his students.
- Understand melanoma lesson plan and homework assignment.
- Register and access all lesson videos and other resources
