This webinar will increase participant’s knowledge of the principles of Trauma-Based RI (TBRI) and build skills on how to implement within a school classroom. This webinar will include an overview of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), the three pillars of trauma-informed care, and implementation strategies to promote calming, co-regulation, and self-regulation.
Learning Objectives
- Review the ACE’s study and it’s outcomes regarding trauma
- Discuss the 3 pillars of trauma-informed care and the impact of trauma on development
- Learn how to implement strategies to promote calming, co-regulation, and self-regulation
- Gain practical application activities and resources to help teachers to meet complex needs of traumatized children
