This webinar will examine how nutrition lessons and activities provide opportunities for children to explore the mind-body connection, and help children develop core social and emotional strengths like self-management, responsible decision-making, self-awareness and social awareness.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Recognize the role of nutrition education as one strategy in a multi-level approach to whole health.
  2. Describe the natural connection between nutrition and social and emotional learning (SEL).
  3. Identify SEL through nutrition education resources and strategies.
