ASHA is Moving … to July!
July 19, 20, and 21
Save the date for ASHA’s Virtual 95th Annual School Health Conference. As you prepare for the 2021-2022 academic year, ASHA will be there with the high-quality professional development, dynamic speakers, and cutting-edge research you’ve come to expect.
Join us virtually for an exploration of the impacts of COVID-19 on student and staff health and well-being and learn how we can work together to ensure student success. To offer a curated and topical experience that speaks to the current climate, all of ASHA’s sessions will be invited. However, a call for poster presentations will be available. Stay tuned for details as they become available!
Who do you know that should be recognized for their work in school health? Nominations are now open for one of our prestigious awards. You can read about each award here and submit your nomination! Deadline to submit is May 11th.
Call for Posters
ASHA is pleased to announce a call for poster sessions. We encourage research, programmatic, and teaching submissions related to a wide variety of health issues affecting students. Posters should explore school health tenets and embrace the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child model.
Share your research results, program successes, teaching techniques, inspiring ideas, and/or best practices to advocate!
Our virtual event will attract a wide variety of people including elementary to post-secondary educators, principals and school board members, school nurses, social workers, counselors, government program associates, school based health center leadership, and school health experts from across the nation with interest/expertise in early childhood and child health, obesity prevention, immunizations, coordinated school health and public health.
