Training Tools for Healthy Schools: Promoting Health and Academic Success – An Overview

This webinar will provide an overview of CDC’s tools and resources available to schools and districts for administrators, curriculum specialists, and health and physical education teachers to help improve school health policies, programs, and curricula. Individuals will be able to apply the knowledge learned from this presentation to initiate health policies and curricula changes in their school or district.
At the end of the webinar, the learner will be able to:
- Explain the purpose of CDC’s Training Tools for Healthy Schools: Promoting Health and Academic Success.
- Identify all four tools and other resources available to help improve school health policies, programs and curricula.
- Navigate the Training Tools for Healthy Schools website to find specific information needed to initiate improvement to current health policies, programs and curricula.
- Learn of the successes and outcomes of TTHS workshops across the country.
