Summary:
This webinar will describe the process for creating, submitting, and evaluating abstracts for the annual program of the American School Health Association's Research Council. It will include examples of good and poor abstracts as seen through the eyes of program planners and reviewers. It will offer tips for making sure you answer the questions that are on the reviewer's mind and how to demonstrate proactively that your work belongs on the program. The relative merits of applying for oral versus poster sessions also will be addressed. This one-hour session will have approximately 40 minutes of presentation and 20 minutes of interactive Q & A
Learning Objectives:
· Analyze and evaluate good and poor example abstracts as seen through the eyes of program planners and reviewers

· Interpret proactive examples to demonstrate that your work belongs on the research council's annual program
