Advancement to Fellowship status is granted to individuals who are currently active members of ASHA and who have been an active member of the Association for 10 years and is based on evidence of leadership and service to the Association and to the field of school health.

Advancement to Fellowship Status is granted to individuals who are currently active members of ASHA and who have been an active member of the American School Health Association for 10 years. It is based on evidence of leadership and service to the American School Health Association and to the field of school health.

Criteria for Advancement to Fellowship Status

  1. Have maintained regular membership in the assocation for 10 or more consecutive years and currently be a member;
  2. Have shown evidence of substantive and consistent leadership and service on ASHA committees, councils, sections, or boards;
  3. Have exhibited evidence of other leadership and service to the field of school health, including national, state, and district organizations; and
  4. Have been nominated by a fellow of the association.

Fellowship Nominations

  1. A letter from the nominator describing the candidate's leadership and service to ASHA and the field of school health;
  2. Documentation of the candidate's activities that address the FASHA criteria in our five requisite categories below:
