ASHA President Phyllis J. Lewis, MSN, welcomed more than 700 conference attendees who were on hand to help ASHA celebrate 80 years of history. Ms. Lewis was joined by 11 past presidents of ASHA, representing 3 decades of ASHA leadership.

Long-time ASHA member John P. McGovern, MD, wrote: "I am pleased to extend my congratulations to ASHA for 80 years of dedication to the health and well-being of school-aged children. I have seen this organization grow and develop into a leader in the field of school health by providing national leadership and as a resource
