Our webinars revolve around a central theme relating to school health and are available to the public and members for a nominal fee and averages a hour and half in duration presented by 3 or 4 panelists who are experts in their respective fields. Webinars themes have varied from asthma, future of school health, food allergy safety training, bullying prevention, and research preparation. Webinar recordings are made available afterwards and ensures your message continues after the live event. Publications
The Journal of School Health is committed to communicating information regarding the role of schools and school personnel in facilitating the development and growth of healthy youth and healthy school environments. Journal readership includes administrators, educators, nurses, physicians, dentists, psychologists/counselors, social workers, nutritionists/dieticians, and other health professionals. These individuals work cooperatively with parents and the community to achieve the common goal of providing youths with the programs, services, and environment necessary to promote health and improve learning. Through scholarships, ASHA provides financial assistance to students whose academic and professional goals include the health of youth. The Association awards three scholarships of $1000.00 annually, one each to students in these specializations.
